John Bapst Memorial High School

New construction and renovations were needed to keep this Bangor, Maine day & boarding school up to date and primed for its new stream of international boarding students. It all kicked off with strategic planning and master planning, then phased into a fine arts building rehab, dorm renovation, a science lab renovation, a new student center, a new fitness center, and most recently, upgrades to the auditorium.

Concord Free Public Library Renovation / Addition

The Concord Free Public Library has acquired a house next door to the library in the Concord Center Historic District. Johnson Roberts Associates is working with Library Trustees, staff, and other stakeholders to evaluate alternative options for use of this historic property by the library.

Havre Street EZ-Pass Service Center

This facility will relocate to an underused garage bay in its current building. The renovation will provide an at-grade entrance and vestibule, double the number of transaction counters, and the development & construction of new support spaces such as a Violations Hearing Room, Office, Break Room, and public toilet facilities.

Leicester Public Schools

Johnson Roberts Associates was tasked with a number of studies to uncover new solutions for the Leceister Public Schools, including a comprehensive assessment of the physical conditions of the entire 5- building network, the confirmation of projected enrollment; the re-programming of grades PK-12 educational infrastructure, and development of master planning options.

Hopkinton Public Library

The Hopkinton Public Library is currently housed in two well loved historic structures (the original historic library and an adjacent church) which were linked together in a previous addition.The renovations and additions will reorganize the library and expand the existing historic structures from 7,000 sf to 22,500 sf. A new accessible entrance provides access to the library which is organized on two floors.

Berkley Town Hall

The new Berkley Town Hall, to be located on the site of the current town offices, will house the Berkley Town Offices, the Council on Aging and local cable studio in a 9,600 square foot single-story building.

Dracut Town Hall

The Dracut Town Hall is a new two-story building located in the heart of town, directly across from the Moses Greeley Parker Memorial Library. The building is home to the Town Clerk and administrative offices, as well as a large meeting room after hours when the town hall is closed.

Shute Memorial Library

Renovations to the historic Shute Memorial Library in Everett, Massachusetts include significant improvements to the existing interior and the addition of a new wing. The renovated structure will include a new accessible entrance on street level, and elevator and new central stairwell, new reading areas and a children’s craft room.

Lithgow Public Library

Additions and renovations to the Lithgow Library will modernize services and create a 31,755 SF space, more than triple the size of the current library. The planned expansion respects the original building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, while providing expanded technology access, an art gallery, a local history room, enlarged children’s department, community meeting room, and a new Young Adults section.

The South Hadley Public Library is a new two-story library to be located on a bluff overlooking the Holyoke Dam on the Connecticut River. This project is slated to begin construction Spring 2013.

The new Helen Matthes Library will be housed in a former bank building located in downtown Effingham, Illinois.

The City has recently announced purchase of the property for conversion to the library and is currently in Construction Documents phase.
