Construction for renovation and expansion at the Lithgow Public Library is currently under way!
The historic library in Augusta, Maine is made of granite adorned with carved medallions featuring the names of admired writers like Byron and Hume.
While demolishing the library’s existing addition this summer, a large section of the original exterior was revealed after being hidden for 36 years.
The spacious new addition is designed to compliment the shape and facade of the original 1896 structure. Johnson Roberts is proud to have been involved with the planning of this project for 9 years.
