Lunenburg Public Library

Lunenburg, Massachusetts

The Lunenburg Public Library is organized around a central reading hall for adults, containing browsing, reference, and periodicals areas. The children’s department is designed to spark a child’s imagination with a sun, moon, and stars motif, inspired by the book Kingdom of the Sun by Jacqueline Mitton.

Seeing thier library role as a civic education leader for the community, the library also wanted to have visible sustainable materials throughout the interior to showcase and educate the public on sustainability.
