This non-profit organization in Arlington, Massachusetts, is located on two floors of a historic school building. Our renovations transformed the former municipal offices into 7,645 SF of vibrant creative spaces. Improved lighting and ventilation contribute to the sense of openness. We maximized open space while highlighting existing architectural features.
Improvements included:
- New LED lighting
- Enhanced air circulation
- New casework
- New interior finishes
- A new entrance
Handicap accessibility was greatly expanded by enlarging the doors and hallways and repairing the elevator. The new layout provides a balance of studios, classrooms, galleries, and administrative spaces. Additionally, the facility now features a clay studio, resident artist studios, and a flexible performance space.
