Concord Free Public Library Expansion

After four months of construction, the foundation is now complete on the Concord Free Public Library expansion, linking the main library building with the historic Heywood-Benjamin House next door. Framing is underway inside the historic house and some areas of the addition between the buildings. The addition will include a new Children’s Library and Makerspace, making room in the existing library building for the new Goodwin Forum to host community meetings and events. Johnson Roberts has been working on this project since the Library purchased the Heywood-Benjamin House in 2013, and we’re very excited to see the construction move forward.
