On Saturday, September 18th, the Town of Essex held its official grand opening for their new, JRA-designed Essex Police & Fire Station. Everyone really likes the new facility and the firefighters and police officers will be proud to work there for years to come. As part of the ceremony they opened a time capsule that had been placed in the previous structure’s cornerstone in 1950.
