The Hadley Public Library is currently under construction and has just reached the important milestone of closing in; the roof and walls are weather-tight, and the windows and doors are installed. The new Hadley Public Library replaces the existing Goodwin Memorial Library, built in 1902, and stands much as it did nearly 120 years ago. Construction is expected to be completed later this year. The library is currently raising money to a photovoltaic system to the roof the reduce their carbon footprint.
