Additions and renovations to the Lithgow Public Library modernize services and more than triple the size of the old library. The expansion respects the original building—part of the National Register of Historic Places—while establishing a modern library with expanded technology access. With 31,755 SF of space, the library now includes an art gallery, local history room, enlarged children’s department, community meeting room, and a new young adults section. Additionally, the updates make the library fully accessible for its 11,300 patrons.
