Stephenie Harper has been working in design and construction since 2005. She has worked on a broad range of public and private project types including: single family residential, office, manufacturing, campus planning, and academic, with a focus on lab design. Prior to attending Ohio State, she worked as a casework designer at New England Lab, giving her insight into the production and installation side of design.
Before joining Johnson Roberts Associates, she has worked with Andrew Sidford Architects, Signer Harris (acquired by Perkins + Will), Payette, and Saam. Ms. Harper has a passion for solving complex programmatic problems. She is most engaged with projects with unique constraints, having worked on retrofits of historic buildings ranging from Romanesque to Brutalist. She enjoys coordinating work between consultants.
Her first passion was visual arts. After studying architectural and art history in college, she volunteered as an installation designer in New York. She often takes courses to learn new skills, and has been part of a green artists collaborative in Newburyport, MA.
